Main raw materials used:
Metals and plastics are among the most important raw materials for the white industry:
- Ferrous metals: such as steel, mainly used for the load-bearing structures of household appliances.
- Non-ferrous metals: such as Copper, Aluminium and Zinc, used in electrical circuits, motors and coatings.
- Plastic and rubber: other important materials used for different types of wiring. Wiring harnesses for boilers, for example, have to withstand high temperatures and humid environments, while those for air conditioners are designed to operate under conditions of vibration and temperature fluctuations. Washing machines and dishwashers, on the other hand, require wiring that can handle water and detergents.
